Fly to Kenai, Alaska

Most of our guests fly to Anchorage and rent cars there. However, if you would like to fly to Kenai rather than drive the 3 hours from Anchorage, you have two good options… Grant Aviation, and Ravn Aviation. Both fly smaller prop driven planes with daily 25 minute flights to Kenai from Anchorage International Airport.

From Anchorage, take the Seward Highway south for 95 miles to the Sterling Highway turnoff. Take a right at the turnoff and drive 45 miles to Soldotna. Go straight through the town of Soldotna and take a right at the next intersection onto Kalifornsky Beach (K-Beach) Road. Drive 9.3 miles on K-Beach to Karluk. Turn left, and drive 100 feet down Karluk. Look for our sign. Your host will be available to meet you in the JFF Lodge Office until 8:00pm. If you arrive later, we will have your welcome folder and lodge directions waiting for you. Please see your itinerary in your folder, and the lodge board for your morning charter time.

From the Kenai Airport right onto Willow Street, then take a left at the fire station. Travel through the next light and continue straight on Bridge Acess Road. Cross the bridge over the Kenai River.
