Jimmie Jack Drath Jimmie Jack grew up on the Kenai river. He began running the river on his own when he was just 13. "I just love being a river guide. The Kenai River is a special fishery. It is amazing how many fish are in this river!" Jimmie Jack was a world class pole vaulter and competed at the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials. Lately, Jimmie Jack has been featured on Larry Csonka's North to Alaska show, a recent CELLULAR ONE commercial, and many Kenai and Kasilof fishing reports on KTUU News in Alaska. Currently, his passions are fishing and Christian missions in Brazil and Mozambique. "I am so blessed. God has allowed me to live life to the full. I get to be a fishing guide on the awesome Kenai River in the summer, and then I get to bless others who are less fortunate in the winter. Praise the Lord!" Currently, Jimmie Jack is serving on the board of directors of the Kenai River Professional Guide Association.

Big Jim Drath Big Jim is Jimmie Jack's dad. Big Jim has been fishing the Kenai River for over 25 years. When he retired from his career in security on the Alaska Pipeline, he found out that his son, Jimmie Jack had painted his boat red. Jimmie wanted his dad to join him as a fishing guide on the Kenai River, and they have been having a blast ever since. Big Jim knows the Kenai River well, and how to pull out the big kings. As he puts it, "This is where I live, this is my house." Jimmie Jack says that his dad has the HOT plugs. "Shoot, he has more awesome plugs than any of us other guides combined. We try and take them, but he sleeps with them under his pillow."

Adam Nath We picked up Adam as a free agent following the 2008 season. He was a star peformer for the Bulldogs, and will be improving his skills with the advanced training here at Jimmie Jack Fishing. Coach Jimmie Jack is positive that Adam will break all previous fishing records that he set last year. During the offseason you can find Adam leading worship, and studying at the International House of Prayer, a Christian ministry school in Kansas City, MO.

Dave Drake Catdaddy ran into Jimmie Jack on the Christian mission field in Bolivia. Pennie Lee Houston is a true blue frontier woman; her heritage and ancestral lines of Native American Indian intermingled with the first British Virginia settlers in America, mixed with the rough and tumble characteristics of her Irish grandfathers has given her a legacy of the strong willed, adventurous pioneering spirit that made Alaska and the lower 48 United States of America a great country of freedom and dexterity. It has been Pennie Lees lifetime dream to carry on that traditional spirit she inherited from her forefathers and continues in the trek to be a part of the last great American frontier freedom , openness and the wilds, North in Alaska. As a young girl Pennie was a faithful companion following close behind her father Jesse Lees footsteps, not only in hunting, fishing and exploration in the western United States in his favorite pastime; staking claims and mining for gold and other precious gemstones but, in his love for nature and cooking in the Cowboy Way as well. Though Jesse Lee never struck it rich, his children struck the mother lode in the unique adventures, experiences and memories that gave his daughter, Pennie Lee that Frontier Spirit that one needs to make it in Alaska. Pennie brings a myriad of her own professional experience as well; she has been in the catering business for over thirty years, hosting a diverse clientele ranging from world dignitaries, celebrities, as well as the hard working class citizens of the world. Paralleling her catering career, again, Ms. Houston has followed in her fathers footsteps and has enjoyed the challenging and ever growing, creative world in commercial and residential construction as project manager, project engineer and project general superintendent. Possessing a degree in the field of Marketing and Advertising, Pennie is always aware of the needs and trends of the general public and incorporates that into her catering or any project she may be involved with.
