Welcome aboard the M/V Moku. Join us on our Wildlife Tour out of Homer, Alaska onto spectacular Kachemak Bay. Come see the Gull Island shorebird rookery, Sea Otters, Seals, Porpoises, Puffins, Whales, Bald Eagles, and more as we cruise through the islands and coves across from Homer. Stay warm and cruise inside or feel the sunshine on the fly-bridge. These cruises are exclusive to groups of (6) six persons or less.

Enjoy the scenery, as you cruise in style aboard our 1961 Bristol Bay Trawler, the M/V Moku. The name Moku is Hawaiian. It is taken from the phrase Moku Manu which means Bird Island. Take a leisurely cruise on Kachemak Bay to Gull Island, Tutka Bay, and Halibut Cove. Bring your binoculars and cameras for some of the best scenery in Alaska.

Coast Guard Licensed Captains

During the cruise, we will drop you off on the board walk of Halibut Cove. Walk the board walk and visit the Halibut Cove Experience Gallery, which is a collection of artwork by 18 local artists. Visit The Saltry restaurant where you may enjoy lunch on Halibut Cove overlooking the water.

On the Flybridge

The M/V Moku is Coast Guard approved, and insured, with our Coast Guard licensed captain for your safety. Dress warm and casual. Raingear is provided if needed. A full bathroom (head) is available for your comfort. The 5-6 hour tour aboard Moku departs at 10:00am daily, and reservations are required.
